Individuals & Families

Since the passage of the Affordable Care Act, many Americans have struggled to navigate the constantly changing insurance marketplace. Every year brings substantial change and instead of getting simpler, it gets more and more confusing.

Our team spends the time necessary to understand the changing markets. We help individuals and their family review and understand the options available and determine which plans will best meet their existing needs. Whether it is finding plans that will cover your preferred providers or just working to cut your out of pocket expenses, Hipson Benefits will provide you with customized quotes and a breakdown of the cost and benefits of each plan.

For those individuals between jobs, short term medical plans may provide the best value. Short-term plans are plans that can be written for up to a full year and can start within 24-48 hours of application. While short-term plans offer robust coverage in many cases, they are not subject to the provisions of the ACA regarding pre-existing limitations and out pocket limitations. As such, short term plans do not satisfy the ACA requirement for coverage. Because of these limitations, short-term plans are often best suited as a cost effective way to bridge the gap when an individual is between jobs or simply looking for a temporary solution to their healthcare needs.
